01 — About the Job

On-site project management,
from day one.

We are recruiting experienced engineers for our construction projects in Kuwait. The incumbents will be mainly responsible for 'on-site project management', including site supervision, progress control, quality & safety management, coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, technical issue resolution, document control and site reporting to ensure the project is delivered on schedule, within budget and in compliance with specifications, contract requirements and local Kuwait regulations.

02 — The Role

Key Responsibilities

Common for all disciplines.

Carry out daily site supervision, inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract and HSSE requirements.
Monitor construction progress, identify bottlenecks, track risks and propose corrective actions to meet project milestones.
Coordinate with client, consultant, local authorities, subcontractors and suppliers for technical clarification, site queries and work sequence arrangement.
Prepare daily/weekly site reports, progress records, technical submissions, variation requests and relevant engineering documents.
Conduct quality inspection, witness testing, record non-conformity and follow up rectification.
Enforce site safety rules, conduct safety walkabouts and promote safe working practices.
Resolve on-site technical problems promptly and support smooth site execution.

Specialized responsibilities by discipline.

01

Planning Engineer

Develop and update master schedule, baseline programme, look-ahead plans; analyse progress S-curve, delay impact, prepare recovery plan; track manpower, plant and material mobilization; prepare progress measurement and delay analysis reports.

Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor

Take-off quantities, prepare and review BOQ, cost estimate, budget and cash flow; verify interim payment applications, assess variation orders and claims; monitor actual cost vs budget, conduct cost forecasting and cost control; support tender evaluation and contract administration.

Civil Site Engineer

Supervise earthwork, foundation, structural concrete, backfilling, infrastructure and related civil works; check setting out, structural quality, material compliance and as-built records.

Architectural Site Engineer

Supervise finishing, façade, waterproofing, tiling, plaster, painting, doors/windows and architectural finishes; coordinate MEP & civil interfaces; control aesthetic quality and compliance with architectural specifications.

Electrical Site Engineer

Supervise LV/MV cable laying, panel installation, earthing, lighting, power systems, testing and commissioning; review electrical shop drawings, inspect material quality, coordinate electrical work sequence and interface with other trades.

04 — Requirements

What we are looking for.

Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering discipline: Planning / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Architecture / Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 1 year of construction site engineering experience; Gulf / Kuwait project experience is highly preferred.
Familiar with international construction standards (BS, ACI etc.), Kuwait local building codes and construction contract administration (FIDIC preferred).
Good command of written and spoken English, able to use English as working language for site communication, report and correspondence.
Proficient in relevant software: Primavera P6 / MS Project (Planning), AutoCAD, Excel, BOQ & cost spreadsheet tools.
Solid on-site problem-solving ability, good communication and cross-team coordination skills, capable of working independently on site.
Accept long-term assignment at Kuwait project site, familiar with site HSSE management system.
Strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented and able to work under tight schedule pressure.
